As Eloise says...

"They have to have a teaspoon of water every hour or so, so you can see they are an extremely lot of extra work."

Holy cow! There will be less blogging for a little while, as we get used to this. I do have time for a quick update, though.

Julian is growing well, shows great interest in sky and trees, and has just started making faces that look suspiciously like smiles in response to others (including his pediatrician, and Zaide). He holds his head up well, and is a rather satsifying bundle to cuddle.

Jonas is a fabulous big brother. He is extremely affectionate, and looks out for his younger sibling.

He is growing into quite a big boy; the other day he had his first dentist's appointment, and was extremely calm and cooperative. Then, we went and bought him a prize for such excellent participation. Then we met his friend Xander at the pool for a swim, and Jonas learned to put his face under water by watching Xander's swim lesson! They had a fabulous time - Xander is also putting his face under, and making great strides in his lessons.

Recently we went to dinner at Bub's Bar-B-Q with Manna and Zaide. While there, Jonas asked for a sip of my beer. I explained that, although he tastes my beer at home, we can't do that at restaurants. Later, he asked why I was handing the keys to Mommy? I explained that because I had been drinking beer, I shouldn't be driving (I am, after all, rather a lightweight).

A few minutes into the drive, he piped up from the back seat (audibly resentful) "I wish I could have had some beer. I can't drive, anyway!"

What do I say to that?
