Bachen' it

If you're reading this, you are probably wondering how we are doing since Sam left yesterday in the wee hours of the morning for Indonesia. We are doing well, thanks to excellent support from some of the local grandparents. Jennie and Jodie split the day yesterday, much to the delight of both boys, then Jodie and I took them to WholeFoods for dinner and some groceries, and we spent the night at Jennie and Gerry's, Julian slept through the night and Jonas woke once but only for a minute, and he quietly went back to sleep.

Sam will be posting the more exciting news from her travels on this blog when she has access, so stay tuned...

hmmm. What have we been up to?

Well, some of what we've been up to is watching youtube. Here are some of our favorites...



That one was found as we did one of our endless searches for tractor slideshows, which is almost a nightly ritual these days (for Julian).

Then I can't remember how we bumped into this one. Only later did I find out that it is based on a tune from the early-seventies robin hood movie that I knew as a book.
